We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Bookkeeper / Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate is experienced with QuickBooks and HRIS platforms, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to learn and solve problems. This role requires a professional who can handle the full cycle of accounting duties, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, monthly financial statements, and general ledger maintenance. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is organized, accurate, and trustworthy.Key Responsibilities Support the company’s bookkeeping and budgeting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant financial regulations. Collaborate closely with the Senior Accountant and Controller. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS system. Oversee insurance compliance and manage pre-employment and on-boarding processes in a timely manner. Manage payroll systems and ensure timely, accurate payroll processing. Build and maintain effective relationships across departments to support company goals. Maintain and oversee the day-to-day accounting functions of the business Process and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Perform bank and credit card reconciliations Monitor and manage inventory records Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with GAAPQualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field (preferred). 3–5 years of experience in human resources. 3–5 years of experience with full-cycle payroll Strong understanding of federal and state HR, healthcare, and payroll regulations. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling confidential information. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate. Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and HRIS platforms.
